Eligibility Criteria for Admission :

B.Sc Nursing

Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years of 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

Minimum Education :

  • A candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and English individually and must have obtained in minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination (10+2).
  • Candidate are also eligible from State open school recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
  • A Candidate belonging to SC/ST on other backward class, the marks obtained in PC is taken together on qualifying examination be 40% instead of 45% as stated above.
  • English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (N)
  • Candidate shall be medically fit.
  • candidate shall be admitted once in a year.

Reservation Policy :

  • For disabled candidates 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing programme.
  • Note : A committee to be formed consisting of medical officer authorized by medical bound of state government and a nursing expert in the panel which may decide whether the candidates have the disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50%.
  • 5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
  • Reservation SC/ST/OBC or any other shall be as per the State Govt. rules.
  • Note : Reservation shall be applicable within the sanctioned number of the seats by ISC and not above it.

Entrance/ Selection Test :

Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination held by University or competent authority.

    4. Adult Health Nursing - I, with Integrated Pathophysiology including BCLS Module

Fourth Semester :-

    1. Pharmacology - II, Including Fundamentals of Prescribing Module
    2. Pathology - II & Genetics
    3. Adult Health Nursing - II, with Integrated Pathophysiology including Geriatric Nursing Palliative Care Module.
    4. Professionalism, Professional Values and Ethics including Bioethics

Fifty Semester :-

    1. Child Health Nursing I including Essential Newborn Care (ENBC), FNBC), FBNC IMNCI and PLS Modules
    2. Mental Health Nursing - I
    3. Community Health Nursing - I including Environmental Science & Epidemiology
    4. Educational Technology/ Nursing Education
    5. Introduction to Forensic Nursing and Indian Law.

Sixth Semester :-

    1. Child Health Nursing - II
    2. Mental Health Nursing - II
    3. Nursing Management & Leadership
    4. Midwifery/ Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG) Nursing-I including SBA Module.

Seventh Semester:-

    1. Community Health Nursing - II
    2. Nursing Research & Statistics
    3. Midwifery / Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBG) Nursing- II including Safe delivery app module.

Eight Semesters (Internship):-
