The hospital is Spread over 30,000 sq. feet covered area in Sector 35, it is a 100 - bedded Super Specialty Hospital near Wave City Centre, Metro station and opposite to the upcoming Wave City.

The building layout has been intelligently designed to ensure smooth flow of visitors, patients and traffic movement within the hospital premises. There are 2 lifts including a stretcher lift where the patients can be smoothly moved from point to point.

The sprawling, centrally air-conditioned building has two powerful generators with combined capacity of 300 kw to ensure seamless supply of power to the hospital. Leveraging the growing power of IT, most of the processes are automated to ensure efficiency and transparency of transactions. Patients and their relatives benefit through faster response time by the hospital. All patient records are maintained efficiently, enabling faster retrieval time and to maintain confidentiality of health records.

In our hospital labor room combines elements of critical care, operating room, emergency department and paediatric nursing. Dialysis

The Nephrology and Dialysis Department at Sumitra Hospital offers diagnosis, treatment and care for in and outpatients with kidney-related conditions. We see about 60 patients a month and are confronted with everything form acute kidney injuries to kidney stones to rare kidney disorders that can ultimately lead to chronic kidney failure. Nephrologist work closely with colleagues from the Internal Medicine Department, surgery, ICU and concerned departments. This collaboration is based on mutual respect and understanding, with the ultimate aim of helping our patients and improving their quality of life.

Laboratory Services

Laboratory Services provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic testing and clinical and consultative services to Sumitra Hospital, as well as to other service providers. Our services are provided through laboratories and collection centre at our hospital with a Core Laboratory providing services 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Our laboratory is compliant with the international standard for laboratory accreditation - ISO 15189-2012 - and is fully accredited by the National accreditation board for Testing and calibration Laboratories (NABL).

Radiology, Neurosciences and Non invasive Cardiology Department

The Department of Radiology / Neurosciences / Non invasise cardiology provides a full range of radiological services related to CT, Ultrasound, X-Rays and intervention procedures, ECHO, Stress ECHO, NCV, EMG, BERA, EEG and Uroflowmetry. We have installed technologically advanced, state-ofthe-art medical equipment in our endeavor to provide the best diagnostic output. The department consists of highly skilled technicians and radiologists who are dedicated to provide 24X7 patient care.

Emergency & Trauma

The Department Emergency Medicine at Sumitra Hospital is resolute in improving the standards of pre-hospital and emergency department services in all avenues possible, with a mission to achieve excellence in the field of emergency medicine.

The Emergency department provides initial treatment for a wide range of conditions like road traffic accidents, burns, poisoning, bites and stings, respiratory emergencies, cardiac emergencies like heart attacks, and stroke for both adult and pediatric age groups and is a onestop facility with a full spectrum of services under the leadership of qualified and experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians.

The department is also fully equipped and has been trained to handle lifesaving procedures like intubation, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Physiotherapy

The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is well equipped with latest equipments working on various sub specialties of physiotherapy. We have qualified, experienced and well trained team of physio and occupational therapist to providing OPD Services and IPD Services (in wards and intensive care units) with treatment procedure of international standards to offer a multifaceted approach to the patient's rehabilitation

Dental Department

Dental Department has been successfully rendering services for all routine and specialized dental procedures for the past decade. The paramedical staffs are particularly trained to guide and assist the patients in a manner to ensure complete satisfaction.

OPD

The Outpatient Department (OPD) at the Sumitra Hospital provides outpatient clinic care in the areas of Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Paediatrics, Obs. & Gynae , General Surgery, Urology, Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Gastroenterology, otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Non Invasive Cardiology, Nephrology, Psychiatry and Orthopaedic Surgery. The team is comprised of Physicians, Registered Nurses, a Ward Aide and Clerks and is supported by a OPD Manager. There are over 8000 patient visits annually

Pharmacy

The mission of Pharmacy department at Sumitra Hospital is to provide high quality pharmaceutical care to our patients in an atmosphere of educational growth, shared respect, and communication. With sprawling space we provide service to Out patients along with In patients.

Indoor facilities

All indoor units at Sumitra Hospital have the facility of central and bed side monitoring, Bed side Echo-Cardiography, Continuous oxygen, Suction And Compressed Air Supply, Infusion Pumps, Defibrillator, etc. The provision has been made for a huge waiting area where in the attendants of the patients can wait. Apart from these the patient have the choice to choose any type of wards out of different categories of beds, i.e. General Ward, Semi Private Wards, Private Wards and Deluxe wards etc.
