Rules and Regulations

College Timing:-

The classes will be commencing at 09:30am and will be completed by 04:30pm in the evenings.
All the students are strictly informed to attend all the classes without fail.

The college accounts office remains open on all days between 09:30am and 04:30pm except on Sundays and national holidays.
The fees related issues could be cleared during these timings.
The principal may be met only with prior appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10:00am to 11:30am

College ID and Uniform is the unique way to identify the college students.
No students will be allowed in the college bus or in the campus without the college proper uniform and ID Card.
All the boys are informed to come to college in neat grooming with shaving properly done.
All girls are informed to groom their hair properly and put up their hair.
All the students should wear shoes with the uniforms.
All the students should wear shoes with the uniforms. No boots, slippers, heals will not be allowed.
Students are informed not to wear valuable jewelry in the campus, nails should be cut short, no nail polish is entertained during the academic and clinical practice.

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.
All the students are informed to maintain well discipline in the campus, in the college bus and in the clinical areas.
Destruction to any of the institutional articles or things will be taken with strict actions against the students.
No students are allowed to enter into any other classes without proper taking permission for the concerned authorities.
No student is allowed directly to meet the principal. Students who want to meet the principal should be accompanied with respective class co-ordinators.
Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not allowed inside the campus. If found out using of such devices in the campus strict actions will be taken.
Students. Should maintain a good behavior and character with the well disciplined approach with the higher officials and teachers.

Nursing is a profession where we deals with human being and their life, hence appropriate knowledge is a must because a tiny mistake may leads to huge consequences.
Students should attend regular classes to gain adequate knowledge of theory and practical sessions.
80% of attendance is mandatory for appearing in the board examinations.
Periodic assessments are also mandatory to be attended and must be scored with a minimum of 50% in all papers.
Students will not be allowed to go the progressive years if they have any arrear papers. Hence all the papers should be cleared to go to the progressive year.
Internal marks will be provided in terms of the students performance in the classes, examinations, clinical areas, submissions of assignments and other requirements in the academics.

Laboratory Classes:-
- Students are strictly informed to attend all the lab hours effectively and with re-demonstrations with the respective tutors.
- Students are informed to take care of the lab articles, any damage to the instruments, articles occurs from the students side will have to be replaced by the respective students.
Library Facilities:-
- Our institution has a good bunch of library books which our students can make us for their academics.
- Students are informed to be in the library in the allotted library timings and make use of it.
- The library rules and regulations should be well followed by each and every student.

Students are informed to be in the clinicals on time.
The clinical requirement should be completed in the clinical period.
Student who does not complete the clinical requirement and get the signatures of the tutors will not be allowed to sit for the board examinations.
Clinical attendance is mandatory and students who do not have adequate clinical attendance will have to do extra clinicals and complete the requirements.
No student is allowed to go out of the clinical setting during the clinical hours.

Students are only allowed to take leave if there is a genuine reason and prior proper information by the parents to the respective class teachers directly.
Student who is taking leave for more than two days will be permitted if they produce a genuine medical certificate.
Hostel students should get the permission from the hostel incharge while taking leave and also should inform the class teacher directly.
The student who takes leaves should produce a leave letter with the reason and should hand over to the class teacher.
Re-Periodic assessments will not be taken for students who remains absent during the assessment examinations.

The potentials of the students are to be recognized and encouraged both by the [parents as well as the teachers.
For the holistic development of the students, the interaction between the parents and teachers is very important.
Parents are requested to attend the parents teachers meeting scheduled in the academic year.

Once admission is taken, the fee will not be refunded even if the student is withdrawn.
Transfer certificate will be issued only after getting clearance from the office.

All the students must bring the textbook, notebooks and stationary prescribed for their classes.
Books should be well covered and must be labeled with the student’s name.
Textbooks will be issued by the institution.
Notebooks students themselves should purchase and it should be unruled long notebooks to be used.
Students are informed to maintain their books and records neatly as periodic checking of notes will be taking place in between.

The college provides transportation for the students.
The students will be allowed and dropped only in the same place from where they get in the bus.
While travelling in the college bus, the students have to behave properly. Misbehavior on the part the student may deprive the student of the bus facility.
Students are not encouraged to interpret with bus driver or the conductor in the bus.
Any problems related to the transportation should be directly informed to the bus incharge staff.

Parents are requested to co-operate with the college management authorities, principal and staff to ensure effective functioning of the college and for a bright future of the children.
Parents are not permitted to interact with the teachers or students during the college tours.
In any emergency, the principal can be contacted.
Entry is forbidden for parents and visitors beyond the college reception area.
Parents should ensure that their words are regular in studies and allied assignments.
Parents are requested to notify the college authorities immediately if any changes in their contact address or contact numbers.

Students should come to college in neatly dressed and clean uniform.
As our course is in English medium, students are expected to speak in English which helps to improve their language.
Students should maintain silence in the corridors and stairs during school hours. It is the duty of all the students to keep their room and surroundings clean and in order.
Home assignments should be done and should be submitted on time.
A student involved in any incident, even outside the campus, which brings discredit to the institution either due to unpleasant nature or inviting criminal action by police or by the court will be dismissed from the college without further enquiry.
